The Whisky Forum: which brand of whiskey should I get?

   I have max 35$ to buy some whiskey.. could be a small bottle.. doesn't 
matter.. but I was thinking of getting a small black label jim beam.. 
and a jack daniels n7 small bottle... or trade one of them with the 
black label jonnie walker.. I DO WANNA taste the "bourbon" and try to 
notice the difference between the whiskeys.. I'm a beginner.. I know 
nothing about whiskey.. just heard some ppl say I should get a JD.. but I
 just hope you can help me choose better.. n remember I'm gonna get 
small bottles.. so that I can buy 2 .. help.. and please share you info 
with me.. it would bee really helpful! And you should know that there 
aren't many kinds of whiskey in the store near by.. I'm gonna try to 
take a lot at other places.. But I only found Johnnie Walker.. JD.. Jim 
Beam.. Dewars.. Teachers.. and stuff like that..

	Hi alicegarden, For your price range I would definitely get Jack Daniels for the first bottle. Jack has a very "normal whisky" feel to it, and is something you can base others off of. For the second I would get a small bottle of Jameson. It is a lot smoother than JD. Hope this helps! Jim
