Hi,
A few months ago, we (The Wild Geese Irish Whiskey Collection) were exhibiting at a Whisky event, and our stand happened to be next to a chocolate brand called 'Chocolate & Love'. This was a collection of rich chocolate and a lot of visitors started to try the both together. I did so myself and it was a really interesting pairing. Has anyone else tried this? Are there any particular chocolates that go well with whiskey? |

It was a collection of dark chocolate - one of them was 71% cocoa. There was also an Orange flavoured dark chocolate, which seemed to go with our Rare Irish Whiskey (which has citrus fruits in the taste). It's definitely worth a try, but make sure its dark chocolate.
Let us know what you think. Our Collection was tried with 'Chocolate and Love', but do let us know if there are any others we should try. |
