Destilleriet har 2 par kedler, og vandet kommer fra Cattie Maggie's Spring. Det lå stille 1918 - 1937.
Destilleriet har æren af at være det nordligste destilleri i Skotland.
Destilleriet kan have den ældste familie af musejægere ("distillery mousers"). Indtil for nyligt var de to kuldbrødre, Malt and Barley, de seneste musejægere - familitræet går måske helt tilbage til etableringen af destilleriet! Da Malt desværre er gået til de evige gnavermarker, er hans plads overtaget af Peat.
