   i have a question for the bourbon buffs out there.
i have stumbled upon an old bottle of whiskey that was given to me by my grand father at his death i managed to recieve the liqueor cabinet. i found a bottle of cedar brook hand made sour mash, this distillery was once called W.H. Brayer's apperently they are now closed. the bottle itself is intacted and unopened the label covering the cork says it was sold in fall 1919 and made in spring 1915, now i had planned on saving it for a special occaution how ever i was wondering what the selling price for this bottle would be? the top of the label says export if it helps.

	There is no established catalog or guidebook for old whiskeys, as their supply and demand change literally daily, as new finds come onto the market, and older bottlings are drunk or otherwise disappear. Truly, the best way to determine such an item's value is to offer it for sale. Ebay is a simple means to do it. The McKenna bottling of which you speak is not particuarly rare, so I don't think a commercial auction house (Zachy's, Sotheby's, et al) would be interested in it alone.

	Oops! Mixing up my posts there. You were questioning the value of a Brayer's, not McKenna. In either case, the same advice applies. Sorry for the mixup.
